A total of 90.000 presences have been recorded by the event organized by Motorsport Italia: 35.000 spectators in the two days in Ostia with an itinerary packed with 54.000 spectators that welcomed the rally since the start in the Eternal City.

Rome July 23, 2019. The 7th Rally di Roma Capitale, the event that reached its conclusion in Ostia on Sunday, July 21st, with the “Arena ACI Roma” super special Stage marking 90,000 presences had another record edition. The number of spectators in Ostia went beyond the 35.000 mark, as it staged the final show of the “Arena ACI Roma”. The beach town near Rome has been under the spotlight for two days with its “Motorsport Village” all the exhibitions, karting races and entertainment events in the presence of motorsport stars like former F.1 drivers Giancarlo Fisichella, Nicola Larini and Emanuele Pirro, that have been competing on karts with their young children.

A big crowd has cheered the rally in the most important roads of the Capital on Friday, July 19th, when the start to the rally was given in Castel Sant’Angelo. Thousands of spectators, a total number going beyond the 54.000 mark, found their place along the roads of the 16 tests that have staged the competition organized by Motorsport Italia in the provinces of Rome and Frosinone. These data have been collected by safety marshals of the rally.

Max Rendina managed complex machinery employing more than 1000 people dedicated to the organization of an event devoted to the people and the territory focused on the spectacle of motorsport in a high-level sporting and technical challenge. The Rally di Roma Capitale has been the centre of interest for media: the hours of live connection from the rally roads increased as the TV, streaming, radio and newspaper specials and also the direct and direct web contacts for which data will be available in the next few days.

-“Our event has been dedicated to the people and the territory - Max Rendina explained – we are motorsport enthusiasts and we try to involve as much people as possible with our passion and we are addressing not only the people living in the territory, but also people coming to visit these unique places in the world due to their historic importance, but also natural beauties. The Rally di Roma Capitale and its side initiatives involved a lot of people and numbers are growing constantly, as the media attention towards this rally. The Capital and the whole territory involved have responded well once again as a constructive collaboration between all the people involved is necessary to produce a successful event and to make it grow: it still has a lot to offer”.
